tommy & i at harbourlife.

Yesterday in the sweltering first-day-of-summer heat Natalie (Lucy & The Runaways) and I headed out to Harbourlife for a day of sweating and while listening some tunes. Knowing Sydney's bipolar weather I figured I'd need this jumper for the day, I was mistaken. The heat remained through the evening but I was glad I decided to rock this awesome Tommy Gun shirt dress under that jumper!

I've never owned a shirt dress. I know, it's a staple, but I just didn't know what to do with it. I've always liked dresses that cinch in at the waist because of my swimmer arms, without the cinching I can look larger than I am - hence me staying away from shirt dresses. However, I decided I should give the shirt dress a go and The Cassette Society's Tommy Gun shirt dress was perfect. It has a fabulous triangle cut-out at the back which makes it a bit more interesting than your stock standard shirt dress. The dress was also a lot more flattering than I imagined - always a plus!!

    Cute shirt dress, I really like the colour :) It's so nice layered with the jumper too, even if it was too hot to wear it like that :)
