I didn't know what to expect when I attended this. I thought it would be more like Stereosonic but it wasn't. The vibe, the people and the music were completely different. It was more laid back, people wore more clothing than just enough fabric to cover their bits which luckily meant I saw a lot less skin. The music was less of my cup of tea than Stereosonic. The music that was played at Stereo was stuff I would hear on the radio on my drive to work with my mother (my mum LOVES 2Day FM...more specifically Kyle & Jackie'O) but the music at Harbourlife was something I was completely unfamiliar with.
Despite the sweltering weather, which caused Nat and I to sweat profusely (hence the picture of me with a map in my face - I was fanning myself), attractive, I know - it was a great day to be out. I was definitely jealous of those lucky ducklings who decided to hit the water and sit by their boats, or in the water, and listened in but at least I got to buy myself a deliciously expensive coconut (it was $10!).
A big thank you to The Cassette Society for giving me a chance to spend the first day of summer with such a spectacular view at Harbourlife! See what I wore here.

I really liked this girl's dress, but I was too afraid to ask to take her photo...oops
Me fanning myself with the map/timetable
$10 coconuts...well considering soft drinks were $6, this was a better option...
