My first stop was Lijiang where I got to visit a historic tea trail that takes 3 months to get up to Tibet. The best thing about Lijiang was the gorgeous blue skies - I've never seen skies so blue in my life! But the worst thing was the hideously freezing weather - each morning we'd wake up to -4˚C weather, and all the ponds would be frozen over!!
My second stop was Hong Kong where I got to go up to the peak that overlooks the city. The view was absolutely spectacular - just see for yourself!
I had hoped to do a lot of shopping while I was in China but was fatally disappointed once I arrived as the fashion style is completely different. Over the two weeks worth of daily shopping all I managed to buy was a gorgeous burgundy vintage style blouse from Forever 21 and a cute crop jacket from H&M. Better than nothing I guess!
Check out all the fantastic food I had the chance to take photos of before I devoured it over at Baking With Maggie!
