On Wednesday night I had the privilege of attending the Fashion Design Studio Evening Wear Parade held at the Strand Arcade. While sipping on fantastic cocktails by Vodka O I watched stunning pieces appear one after another. I was lucky that this runway was different to others (the models walked the runway twice) otherwise I may not have been able to take any photos as I was just stunned by the pieces.
The pieces in the show were inspired by the works of Gustav Klimt. I'm still in so much awe I can't even think of appropriate adjectives to describe the gorgeous pieces I saw, just let the pictures speak for themselves. Below are a selection of my favourite pieces from the evening and the last glomesh piece was the winning design of the evening. (Sorry for the photo heavy post - I just had to share this all with you!)
The winners were:
First: Inderpreet Dhillion
Second: Camile Dela Paz
Third: Ying Yuan
Highly Commended: Shannon Carmody, Paul Scott, Leroy Nguyen, and Elissa McGown
Thank you Trish Nicol PR for inviting me to the fantastic event!
Beautiful pieces, I love the embellishments and details! That backless cream peplum top with the beaded shoulders is breathtaking!
